Welcome to Crete!

Καλώς ήρθατε! مرحباً! 欢迎! Bienvenue! Добро пожаловать! Bienvenidos!

What a journey these Games are turning out to be for us all!

By now, you’ve either already touched down in Crete, are on your way, or are counting down the final moments before departure, all in the spirit of coming together as one UN family, united through sport, connection, and friendly competition. The Games are just around the corner — the energy is building, the anticipation is real. So, bring your best self, your team spirit, and your good vibes. Get ready to move, to compete, and to truly thrive together — this is your moment!

Your ticket to the Event

If you registered and paid up, you will receive your personal QR code by email shortly before the event.  This is your ticket to receiving your UNIAG badge, which you will wear and use at all times – not only to access official events such as opening and closing ceremonies, but to show a unified community and connect with fellow participants.

If you did not receive your QR before arriving here, we will help you out. Please have your name, email address, and ID ready at any of the check-in desks (Airport or Lyttos Hotel)

Finding your way around

Information Book

The Information Book has been shared with all participants through their Focal Points and Coordinators. We kindly encourage you to review the relevant sections and remain informed throughout the Games. Should you have any questions, please reach out to (1) your Focal Point and/or (2) your Sports Coordinator or Team Captain.

Arrival

Upon arrival at Heraklion airport you can find us in  Booth 15 (upon exiting the airport), on Wednesday, and in Lyttos Hotel (Tue, 2p-6p; Wed, 8a-12a; Thu 7a-10a; Fri, 9a-11a)

Here you can:

(a) check-in to the event and have your badge printed. We just need your QR code.

(b) get directions to the hotel shuttle, if you have a hotel package booked. Not in one of our official hotels? You can still use the shuttle to Lyttos Beach for a EUR 10 fee (card payment only!) .

If you prefer to take a taxi, make sure you only use the official Taxis – they have a flat rate depending on location, much to your advantage. The stand is to the left upon exiting.

Just reach out if you’re still lost or confused!

Your Focal Point is there for you as your primary point of contact and key source of event information. For sports inquiries, your Sports Coordinator and Team Captain are also fully briefed and available to support and guide you whenever needed.

And don’t forget the Information Booklet — your go-to reference for essential details on logistics, venues, and contacts, including who’s who across the Games. For any additional support, the UNIAG Organising Committee is also at your disposal (full contact details are available in the Information Booklet).

Check your event badge for emergency contact information!

Thank you for your patience, cooperation and being part of this journey — from preparation to arrival at the Games. The 2026 edition is shaping up to be a truly exciting experience for all involved!
