Cesson-Sévigné is proud to welcome, alongside the City of Rennes, this 50ᵉ edition of the United Nations Inter-Organization Games. As an ideal land for sport, our town is committed to making physical activity accessible to all, a real driving force behind its political action. Thanks to our sports facilities in the heart of the city, we encourage all forms of sporting activity, whether amateur, school or high-level. This dynamic is fully in line with the values embraced by UNESCO and this event: sport, inclusion, sharing and respect.
Beyond the competition, these Games embody the spirit of conviviality and solidarity that drives us. By bringing together participants from all over the world, this event perfectly illustrates the role of sport as a vector for peace and reconciliation between peoples. We are delighted to extend the Olympic spirit of Paris 2024 by welcoming athletes, volunteers and spectators to our city.
